Day One At SM20: En Fuego

We’re officially declaring “Like drinking from a firehose” as the phrase that captured the vibe of the first day here at the Sales & Marketing 2.0 Conference in SFO. Tons of ideas, fantastic energy, and an informed (and sometimes tense! — more on that soon) dialogue about the intersection of people, process, and technology.

Many thanks to Adam Metz, Principal of Metz Consulting, and Jigsaw Co-Founder Garth Moulton for contributing guest posts today. Continue to track hashtag #sm20 on Twitter again tomorrow for reports — it’s the next best thing to being at the conference in person. We’ll also post a round-up of links on behalf of our esteemed bloggers & media folk as they post their reactions.

Reminder: all Sales & Marketing 2.0 Award winners will be announced in an ceremony in the Veranda Ballroom tomorrow, starting at 5:45. The formidable entertainment and comic minds of SM20 host Gerhard Gschwandtner and comedian Jeff Applebaum are joining forces to MC the ceremony; much LOLing has been predicted …
